The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a security force raided the location of the wanted individual who opened fire and injured three people in the Adhruh area of Ma'an during celebrations at an election headquarters.

The suspect was successfully apprehended.

On September 13, 2024, three individuals were transported to the hospital after being injured by gunfire while at an election headquarters in Adhruh, Ma'an.

The shooting occurred when one of the attendees discharged a firearm inside the venue and then fled the scene, in an attempt to evade capture.

The PSD confirmed that the monitoring committees established by the Public Security Directorate to oversee and investigate all incidents and reports related to gunfire during and after the parliamentary elections continued their efforts to gather information until the suspect's location was identified. Following the raid, investigations with the shooter have commenced.
